About SawTots

SawTots is a first "how do you know?" game for ages 3–5. Willa the owl hides something, and two friends each say how they know what's inside — one really checked it with their eyes, ears, hands, nose or mouth, and the other just guessed. Your child taps the friend who really checked, and the thing pops out. It's the gentlest first taste of the biggest idea in our whole thinking family: a good reason means you really looked.

Meet the peek game

  • Willa — the owl who checks before she knows — she hides a thing and asks the best question of all: 'how do you know?'
  • The friend who checked — the one who really peeked, felt, heard, smelled or tasted it — so they really know
  • The friend who guessed — the one who just says "because I said so" — a friendly reminder that a guess is not the same as checking

Willa is scripted — a friendly voice, not a chatbot. Illustrated stories are on the way.

Made for the youngest players

No reading is needed (tap anything to hear it), the friend cards are big, and there is no score, no timer, and no way to lose. A wrong tap is just Willa gently asking, "did they really check?" Everything is computed by a small, exact engine on your device — nothing about your child's play leaves it, and there is no account and no tracking. Honest note: SawTots builds an early reasons-and-evidence habit through play; it makes no exam or skill claim.
