Sowing
📋 What it is
On your turn you scoop all seeds from one of your pits and drop one into each following pit, going around.
🗣️ Coach says
The signature move. Pick one of your own pits, scoop out ALL its seeds, and "sow" them one at a time into each pit that follows, moving around the board (dropping one in your own store as you pass it). Where the LAST seed lands decides what happens next — so every move is a little calculation.
🧠 Memory hook
Scoop a pit, drop one seed in each pit ahead. The LAST seed decides everything.
😂 Giggle
Why did the seed feel so well-travelled?
It went all the way around the board one pit at a time!
😲 Whoa!
Because you drop the seeds one by one, a single pit with many seeds can travel all the way around the board — planning where the last seed lands is the whole skill.
✅ Quick check: When you sow from a pit, where do the seeds go?
Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.
All the seeds are scooped out and dropped one at a time into each following pit (and your store) as you move around the board.
Sowing distributes one seed into each successive pit from the chosen pit.
🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)
Scoop a pit of 4 seeds and sow them one-by-one into the next four pits. Note where the last one lands.
