The number of seeds in a pit tells you exactly which pit your last seed will land in.

Before you move, COUNT. A pit with 3 seeds will land your last seed 3 pits ahead; a pit with 8 will go 8 ahead (possibly all the way around). Reading a pit means instantly knowing where sowing it ends — that's how you plan captures and avoid mistakes.
