About StudioDojo
Roblox and its peers are, first, a creation engine — millions of teens learn to build by making places other people play. StudioDojo takes the part that actually teaches — the design discipline — and gives it a calm, honest home, without the store, the currency, or the pressure.
Design, then ship
StudioDojo is a real pipeline: scope a game to one core verb, build only what the loop needs, playtest it on real people with a printed rubric, revise one thing, and ship. You finish with a design code you keep and a Roblox Studio (Luau) starter — a portfolio piece, not a locked demo.
The coach can’t do it for you
By design, the coach only asks — it never writes your game or hands you the answer. Designing is a skill you earn by making the calls yourself; a mentor that did it for you would take that away.
What it’s good for (and what we don’t claim)
StudioDojo is honest practice in the game-design process and designing for a player rather than yourself. It is not a course, a credential, or a path to riches, and we make no claim it raises test scores or makes you an entrepreneur.
Safe by design
- Nothing uploads. Your pitch, your design, and your Luau starter stay on your device — no account, no sign-in, nothing sent anywhere.
- No dark patterns. No timer, no streak, no score, and nothing to buy or unlock.
- A design is a file. Keep it, reopen it, share it — you own your work.
