SyntaxForge
Most coding mistakes are syntax — a missing bracket, the wrong keyword, one equals sign instead of two. So here the training wheels come off one at a time: pick your level, build a short program to hit a goal, and the engine runs exactly what you built and tells you, in plain words, where the syntax went wrong. Start by tapping tiles into the blanks; work up to writing the whole thing yourself.
These programs are written in a teaching subset of the Swift language.
