Probability Simulation & Monte Carlo

When odds are too hard to calculate, you can SIMULATE many random plays and count the results ("Monte Carlo").

Some game questions are too tangled to solve by hand — like "how often does this card combo win?" The trick: SIMULATE. Run the random situation many, many times (by hand or computer) and count how often each result happens. This "Monte Carlo" method estimates probabilities you couldn't easily calculate.
