Why a whole-week view
Young children live in "now." Seeing seven days at once — and placing a few known activities on them — is early time awareness: "soccer is Tuesday, the library is Thursday." It makes the shape of a week visible and predictable, which is calming. We describe the rationale honestly and claim no measured outcome — WeekPals is a supportive tool, not an intervention.
Your real calendar (on the app)
WeekPals here is a self-contained picture planner that works on any device with nothing to install. The iOS app additionally can add a plan to the device Calendar — that sync feature is device-specific and lives only on the app.
No pressure, no counting
There is deliberately no score, no streak, and no "how many planned." A planner that scores you becomes a chore; one that just shows the week stays useful. Everything is on this device only, with nothing sent anywhere and no notifications.
