For grown-ups

WiggleTots pairs whole-body movement (WHO recommends ≥180 minutes of activity a day under age 5) with a freeze that builds self-regulation.

  • Clear a small space and remove anything to bump into — WiggleTots never asks your child to run.
  • The FREEZE is the point: stopping on cue is how young children practise self-control (inhibitory control).
  • Join in! Moving together is more fun and models the moves.
  • Short and often beats long and rare — a minute or two is plenty for little ones.
  • On the web there are no motion sensors, so the app only CALLS the moves; your child does them.

Active play supports self-regulation (Becker et al., 2014). WiggleTots collects nothing — no camera, no motion data, no account.
