About ZettelForge

Smart notes aren't a pile — they're a web. ZettelForge gives a nine-to-fourteen-year-old a small way to build one: write a short card for an idea, then draw a link to the notes it connects to. Over time the links tell a story the notes alone couldn't — "photosynthesis" touches "sunlight," which touches "energy," which touches…

The one big idea

Connect what you learn. Not a notebook to fill, not a streak to keep — a little web of ideas you can walk from one note to the next.

What it's good for (and what we don't claim)

ZettelForge is practice in knowledge organisation — the study skill of relating new ideas to old ones instead of memorising them in isolation. It is not a lesson or a test, and we make no claim it raises anything. It's an honest little linking tool.

Safe by design

  • On your device. Your notes are saved only on this device — no account, no sign-in, nothing sent anywhere.
  • No dark patterns. No streak, no score, no "how many notes," and nothing to buy or unlock.
  • You're in charge. Any note or link can be removed; your web is yours.
