OopsPals

Everyone slips up - the skill is putting it right. When you bump a friend's tower or say an unkind word, a repair is three small steps: NOTICE what happened, SAY a real sorry (one that names it, not a mumbled sorry), and MEND the hurt - and the mend has to fix THIS hurt (a snack won't rebuild a tower). Pick the mend that puts it right, then walk the three steps yourself. A tiny, gentle making-up game, no internet. Ages 6-8.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

OopsPals's crew ARE the steps of a repair - the cast IS the curriculum: how to put a slip-up right. Notice stops and looks: what happened, and who feels hurt? Sorry says a real sorry - one that NAMES what happened, not a mumbled sorry or a sorry-but-you-started-it. Mender picks the one thing that actually fixes THIS hurt, and Match checks the mend fits the hurt (a snack is kind but it won't rebuild a knocked-over tower). Mila, the mentor, holds the gentle frame the whole app rests on: everyone slips up, it does not make you bad, and you can always put it right in three small steps. A first, gentle model of social repair (6-8): short words, big buttons, no score, and it never shames or names a condition. Painted portraits are a tracked follow-on (R-WEB-CLONE-SPAWN-TRACKED); a text-only crew + a flat, deterministic on-device repair engine ship now - nothing leaves the device, and the real making-up happens with a real friend and a grown-up nearby.

N

Notice

The one who stops and looks - names what happened and who was hurt, the first step of any repair

S

Sorry

The one who says a real sorry - one that names what happened, never a mumbled sorry or a blaming one

M

Mender

The fixer - picks the one action that actually mends THIS hurt, then does it

M

Match

The one who checks the mend fits the hurt - a kind act that fixes a different problem is not the repair

M

Mila

(Mentor) The warm guide who reminds everyone: everyone slips up, and you can always put it right
