PitchPals

For ages 6–8: hear a made-up ad and tap which trick it is doing to make you WANT it — "everybody has one", "hurry, only 3 left!", a "free" gift. Two big picture choices, read aloud, no reading needed. Then hear the ad said again in plain, honest words. No real brands, no timer, no score to chase. On-device; no account.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

PitchPals's little ad-spotting crew (ages 6–8) are Nan's helpers at the corner store: each shows one simple way to see through an ad — spot the trick, say what the ad really wants in plain words, and remember that YOU get to choose. Mentor Nan keeps it warm: an ad wants you to WANT it — that's its job; when you can spot the trick, you stay the chooser. No real brands, ever. (Illustrated portraits + chapters are a tracked follow-on — R-WEB-CLONE-SPAWN-TRACKED.)

S

Spotty

Spot the trick in the ad — is it "everybody has one", "hurry!", shiny words, or a "free" gift?

T

Truly

Say what the ad truly wants, in plain words — an ad wants you to buy, that's what it's really doing

C

Choosy

You get to choose — a clock or a crowd is a push, not a reason; take your time

N

Nan

(Mentor) — an ad wants you to WANT it; that's its job. Spot the trick and you stay the one who chooses. No real brands, ever.
