Meet your mentor
Every Spark & Anvil app has a friendly mentor character that demonstrates, asks, and patiently scaffolds learning. On-device AI personalizes the mentor's responses to your kid's progress — never connecting to a server, never collecting data.
Mentored by Stitch
#E91E63 StyleForge is a fashion design and textile arts education app for ages 9-14 where players design garments from concept sketch through fabric selection, pattern-making, construction, and runway presentation — learning color theory, proportions, textile science, and sustainability along the way.
Characters who teach
Meet the cast
StyleForge's animal designers each teach one part of making clothes. Grain understands fabric, Drape knows clothes are made to fit people (not the other way around), Cut makes patterns, Trim finishes the details, and Fold mends and cares for clothes so they last. Dart, Baste, Pleat, Yoke, and Dye cover shaping cloth to a body, test stitches, pleats, structural pieces, and natural dyeing. Stitch is the mentor, and the cast shows many different body shapes on purpose.
Grain
Fabric + textile science — the thoughtful raccoon who treats fabric science as a vocabulary of natural-material decisions ('where does this thread come from? where does it go after? fabric has a beginning and an after')

Drape
Concept silhouette + fit — the curvy capybara who knows clothes are made to fit people, not the other way round ('fabric meets body; body says what fabric wants to be — listen to both')
Read chapter →
Cut
Pattern-making + construction — the precise heron who treats pattern-cutting as careful measure-twice-cut-once practice ('measure first, cut once — the pattern is the promise')
Read chapter →
Dart
Shaping flat cloth to a real body's curve
Read chapter →
Baste
The temporary try-it-first stitch

Pleat
Controlled fullness + pleating
Read chapter →
Yoke
The structural anchor that carries and distributes

Dye
Color + natural dyeing
Read chapter →
Trim
Finishing + embellishment — the steady mole who treats finishing as the small details that make a garment whole ('big shapes finish first, tiny details finish last — hem first, then bead')
Read chapter →
Fold
Sustainability + garment care — the wise old swan in a visibly-mended quilted coat who mends, keeps and honours where clothes come from ('make to last, mend to keep, fold to remember — fashion is a long story, not a short trend')

How StyleForge handles your kid's data
- ✅ All progress, settings, and AI-generated content stays on the device
- ✅ No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs
- ✅ Free — no ads, no in-app purchases
- ✅ No personal information collected from children — in line with COPPA (updated by the 2026 FTC amendments)
- ✅ No chat with strangers — play-together rooms use a short code and preset emotes, never typed messages
StyleForge runs on ForgeKit — the open-source Swift Package Manager framework that powers every Spark & Anvil app. ForgeKit ensures consistent accessibility, COPPA compliance, and design language across the portfolio, so your kid's progress and preferences feel coherent across every app they touch.
