Meet the cast
In TeachTales, your child becomes the teacher. Mentora, the academy host and teaching coach, introduces learner characters from other Spark & Anvil apps who each need help with one idea: Halver splits things in half, Scale-the-Doubler scales ratios, Lever balances equations, Master Hypotenuse works with right triangles, Verb Verity matches subjects and verbs, and Skew learns about bias in AI. Each one gets better only as your child shows real understanding.
Mentora
Academy host + teaching coach (the only authored character) — her defining act IS the ask-first (Socratic) teaching method; she models good teaching by asking guiding questions, never telling. Deliberately NOT 'Socra' (real-historical-figure names forbidden).
Halver
Reused novice — partitioning / halving (from FractionForge); the seed Teaching-Gallery roster grows as more portfolio apps ship <TeachableCast> surfaces
