Bo is a soft yellow duckling who waddles around Plan Park. Bo loves to line things up, nice and neat.
One day, Pim wanted to make a jam snack. Pim grabbed the jam first — but there was no bread! The steps were all mixed up, and Pim felt a little muddled.
"Let's put the steps in a line," said Bo, gently. Bo held up one wing: "FIRST, get the bread." Then the other wing: "THEN, add the jam." And a happy nod: "LAST, take a bite!"
Pim tried it Bo's way. Bread first. Then jam. Last, a big yummy bite! It worked, and Pim giggled. Bo's little rhyme is: "First, then, last — put the steps in line."
That is Bo's tidy secret. When a plan feels muddled, put the steps in order: first, then, last. Step by step, the plan goes just right.
