Juni is a little green frog with strong, springy legs. Juni loves to hop in Plan Park.
One day, Pim was stacking blocks up high. Wobble, wobble — CRASH! The tower fell down. Pim's lip went wobbly too. "I can't," Pim said, quietly.
Juni hopped over, soft and kind. "A wobble is okay," said Juni. "It just means we try again. Watch me!" Juni jumped for a leaf. Missed! Juni jumped again. Missed! Juni took a breath, and jumped once more — got it!
Pim watched, then tried the tower again. Slow this time. One block, two blocks, three — it stood! Pim beamed. Juni's little rhyme is: "If it's tricky, try again."
That is Juni's brave secret. When something does not work, it is not the end. Take a breath, and try again. A wobble is just a step on the way.
The PlanPals ensemble
Juni is part of PlanPals's distributed-narrative cast. Each character embodies a different curricular primitive; together they teach the full subject.
