For grown-ups

AlwaysTots is a first taste of proof. Testle the tortoise says a rule about block towers: "put one more block on, and the tower gets taller", or "a tower with more blocks is taller". Your child guesses whether it is always, sometimes or never true, then three towers test it.

The app checks every tower of one, two and three blocks, so its verdict is proved, not guessed. When a rule only works sometimes, it shows the tower that breaks it. One tower that breaks a rule is enough: that is the big idea.

No guess is ever called wrong. The blocks decide. Then put the phone down and make up rules with real blocks, and try to break them together.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what AlwaysTots is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
