About BasketPals
BasketPals is a push-your-luck dice game for ages 6–8. Pika stacks hay for winter: gather with the two dice, watch out for the 7 that tips the basket, and bank when you feel lucky enough. It’s the gentle cousin of our bigger probability games — the same two dice, felt as a choice — and it plays solo against Pika or two-player, passing the tablet.
Meet the meadow
- Pika — the busy beaver who stacks hay for winter — she gathers, watches for the 7, and banks a little early (a good model of careful play)
- The two dice — count the dots and add them up — and discover that 7 comes up most (it has the most ways)
- The meadow — where spilled hay lands — never wasted, always waiting for the next friend to scoop it up
Made for the younger band
Big buttons, count-the-dots dice, short and warm words, and read-aloud you can turn on. There is no score to chase, no timer, and no way to lose — spilled hay lands in a shared meadow and comes back, and a banked haypile is never touched. Everything is computed by a small, exact engine on your device — nothing about your child’s play leaves it, and there is no account and no tracking.
