About BecauseTots
BecauseTots is a first "a good because" game for ages 3–5. Bruno the little elephant asks "but why?" about something, and two friends each answer with a because — one tells you something new, and the other just says the same thing back. Your child taps the friend whose because tells you something new, and Bruno lights up. It's the gentlest first taste of the biggest idea in our whole thinking family: a good reason tells you something you didn't already know.
Meet the but-why game
- Bruno — the curious little elephant who always asks the best question of all — 'but why?' — and lights up when a because tells him something new
- The animal friends — a different pair in every scene — a mouse and a frog, a penguin and a rabbit, a fox and a bear. Who gives the good reason changes every time, so you listen to the because, not the face
- The two becauses — the 💡 because that tells you something new ("because it has big flappy wings!") and the 🔁 because that just says it back ("because it's a bird")
Made for the youngest players
No reading is needed (tap anything to hear it), the friend cards are big, and there is no score, no timer, and no way to lose. A wrong tap is just Bruno gently saying, "that one just says it back again — which because tells us something new?" Everything is computed by a small, exact engine on your device — nothing about your child's play leaves it, and there is no account and no tracking. Honest note: BecauseTots builds an early reasons-and-evidence habit through play; it makes no exam or skill claim.
