For grown-ups

CarryPals is a two-player puzzle for one keyboard (WASD and the arrow keys) or two thumbs on a tablet. Bop carries ones and Loaf carries tens. Each door wants an exact number, so the pair has to work out how many tens and how many ones, and bring them together.

At the trade machine, ten ones squish into a ten that only Loaf can lift, and a ten can be cracked back into ten ones for Bop. That is carrying and borrowing, done with your hands.

There are no pits, no falls and no timer: six-year-olds should never lose on reflexes. If one child is picked up, the other can play both characters. Nothing is sent anywhere; a count of finished rooms stays on this device.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what CarryPals is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
