Trust the Odds Assistant?

You’ve got an AI probability helper, “OddsBot”, that rules on the chances of dice, coins, and spinners. Each task shows a claim about a probability — the chance of a 6, of two heads, of landing on red — plus OddsBot’s confident ruling and a % sure. But OddsBot is JAGGED, like real AI: it can nail a genuinely tricky two-flip compound chance yet confidently botch a basic die, or fall for the “a coin is due” trap. For each one, decide: TRUST OddsBot’s ruling, or CHECK IT YOURSELF. You do well by catching the confident misses, because a bot sounding certain is not the same as being right — and how hard a chance looks tells you nothing about whether the bot got it right. With probability you can always check: count the favourable outcomes over the total equally-likely outcomes, and remember an impossible thing is 0 and a fair coin has no memory.

Claim 1 of 6 · smart calls: 0 of 6

Claim: a fair six-sided die has a 1-in-5 chance of rolling a 6. OddsBot ruled on it — trust its ruling, or check it yourself?

🎲 OddsBot says
