For grown-ups
FireflyTots is for a whole room and one big screen: a projector, a classroom display or a laptop at the front. It shows a dark meadow. While the room is gentle, fireflies come out one at a time until the meadow is full. When the room gets busy, nothing is taken away: the fireflies that are out stay out, and new ones wait in the grass until it settles.
If you allow the microphone, the page measures how loud the room is, many times a second, and throws the number away straight after. It records nothing and sends nothing. There is no meter on the screen, no red zone and no message about anyone being too loud. If you would rather not use the microphone, choose Grown-up taps and tap the moon whenever the room feels gentle.
The game ends when the meadow is full, or whenever you tap Time to go. Nothing breaks if you leave in the middle.
What it never does
