Trust the Fractions Bot?

You’ve got an AI maths helper, “FracBot”, that answers fraction problems — adding, subtracting, comparing, and dividing fractions. Each task shows a problem plus FracBot’s confident answer and a % sure. But FracBot is JAGGED, like real AI: it can cross-multiply two awkward fractions correctly yet confidently “add across” 2/3 + 1/6 to get 3/9 — just because it produces a plausible-looking answer, not a checked one. For each one, decide: TRUST FracBot’s answer, or CHECK IT YOURSELF. You do well by catching the confident misses, because a bot sounding certain is not the same as being right — and how tricky a problem looks tells you nothing about whether the bot got it right. With fractions you can always check with a rule: you never add denominators, a bigger bottom (same top) means smaller pieces, and to divide by a fraction you keep-change-flip. Apply the rule to the actual numbers and you’ll know.
