The Skewer
📋 What it is
A skewer is the pin’s reverse: the MORE valuable piece is in front. It must move, exposing the piece behind it to capture.

Lady Skewer’s tactic. Line your rook or bishop up so a big piece (like the king or queen) sits in front — it dodges, and you grab what was hiding behind it.

Because it also hits two pieces in a line — but the valuable one is in front!

The difference between a pin and a skewer is just WHICH piece is in front — same line, opposite order, opposite result.
