About JotPals
A notebook is a grown-up thing children want their own version of. JotPals gives a six-to-eight-year-old a tiny one: write a short note — or, if they'd rather, say it — and keep it. It stays in the notebook, and they can open it, hear it, or change it. The quiet pleasure of "my words, and they're still here."

What it's good for (and what we don't claim)
JotPals is gentle practice in getting a thought into words and keeping it — a first taste of composition and authorship. It is not a lesson or a writing test, and we make no claim it raises anything. It's an honest little notebook.
Safe by design
- On your device. Your notes are saved only on this device — no account, no sign-in, nothing sent anywhere.
- Microphone is opt-in + off by default. Nothing listens until a child taps 🎤 Speak, and typing always works without it. We keep no audio.
- No dark patterns. No streak, no score, no "how many," and nothing to buy or unlock.
- You're in charge. Any note can be removed with the little ×; your words are yours.
