MathBot works sums in its head and sounds sure every time, but it is jagged, like real AI: it can nail a hard trick and miss an easy carry. For each sum, decide: trust its answer, or work it out yourself.

How it works

Each task shows a calculation, MathBot’s answer and how sure it says it is. How hard the sum looks tells you nothing about whether the bot got it right, so you do well by catching the confident misses. In mental maths you can always check: the sum is right, or it isn’t. No clock, no pressure — just careful thinking.
