For grown-ups
What your family does
PactPals turns emotion science into a short family agreement you make together. You choose the promises that fit your family — each one is grounded in the science the other apps teach: “we ask before we guess” (feelings can’t be read from a face), “every feeling is okay” (no feeling is bad), “we breathe when it’s big”, “we can feel two things at once”, “when it’s too big we get a grown-up”. Then you print it and sign it by hand together.
- Make a Pact — tap the promises you want; they appear in your pact; then print it to sign.
- Meet the Promises — Ribbon and the pact-friends, and every promise you can choose with a note on why it matters.
The signed paper is the record
This is the one place in our emotion-science apps where a printout is exactly right. Your family’s pact is never saved on the device — you print it and sign it by hand, and that piece of paper (on the fridge, in a bedroom) is the record. There is nothing to type in, nothing stored, no names collected. When the page closes, your choices are gone; the paper is yours.
A promise, not a rule to feel
Every promise is about how you handle feelings together — none of them tells a child to feel a certain way. “Every feeling is okay” is the heart of it. Tap 🔊 to hear anything read aloud for new readers.
Our privacy promise
PactPals Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no microphone, no camera; nothing your family chooses ever leaves this device. Only which activities have been played is saved, only in this browser.
