Playing PilePals together 🧩
PilePals takes the idea behind Bananagrams — make your own words from a pile of letters — and makes it a picture game a 6-year-old can play. There are no turns and nothing to draw: just a small pile, and as many little words as your child can find hiding in it.
1 · Tap letters to build a word
Tap letters from the pile and they move into the word tray. When the tray spells a real word, its picture pops up and it's added to your found words. (From C, A, T, R you can find CAT 🐱, CAR 🚗, RAT 🐀, and ART 🎨.)
2 · Tear down and rebuild
Made a word that isn't one of the hidden ones? No problem — tap Clear ↺ and try a different arrangement. There's nothing to lose; the whole game is rearranging the same letters to find what's hiding.
3 · Find them all, side by side
This is a lovely lap game: read the letters together, wonder aloud "what could these make?", and let your child do the tapping. There's no timer, no score, and nothing to lose — just the fun of finding every word in the pile.
