Playing PlotPals together 🌸
PlotPals is a garden game for ages 6–8 with two parts: Breed a Bloom (a first, gentle taste of how living things pass on their looks) and My Garden (a real little garden that grows over time). Rootle the earthworm is the calm garden helper.
1 · Breed a bloom — guess before you look
Two flowers are crossed. Before the babies grow, your child predicts: will the baby flowers be all red, all white, or a mix? Then the babies appear. This is predict-then-reveal — a lovely way to learn, because a good guess (or a surprising one) makes the answer stick.
2 · The honest surprises are real botany
Some crosses surprise you: a red flower and a white flower can make all red babies (red can hide white inside), and two red flowers can make a white baby. These aren't made-up rules — they're real single-trait inheritance, at a 6–8 level (no big words, just the pattern).
3 · Grow a garden that never dies
In My Garden, plant seeds and they grow on their own — even after you close the app and come back later. Nothing ever wilts. There is no watering-or-it-dies, no timer to beat, and nothing to buy. It's a calm, forgiving little world you can tend whenever you like.
