For grown-ups
PulsePals is a body experiment. Help your child find their pulse, two fingers on the inside of the wrist or on the side of the neck, then they tap the big heart once for each beat. The app works out beats per minute from the middle gap between taps, so one missed beat or double tap does not spoil it.
Your child guesses whether jumping will make the heart beat faster, slower or about the same. They jump for thirty seconds, with a calm circle that fills up and no countdown, then tap again.
This is not a medical test, and nothing is measured by a camera or sensor. Nothing is stored. If your child has a heart condition or feels unwell, skip the jumping.
What it never does
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
- No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
- No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.
