For grown-ups

RatherPals is a would-you-rather card game for two to four players, grown-ups included. Each player picks a side and a reason; the next player says that reason back before giving theirs. That listening move is the heart of it.

The Fair-o-meter tilts toward the reason with more math in it — a number worked out, two sides compared — and it resets every card. Some cards have one checkable answer; others are talking cards with no right answer. Either way, the best reason wins the card, not the best guess.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what RatherPals is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
