For grown-ups

SnipPals is a rule game. The scissors cut a paper chain after one colour only. Your child predicts how many pieces there will be, cuts, and then works backwards: here are the pieces, what was the rule?

For you: the helpers that break down food in our bodies (enzymes) work this way, each cutting only at its own pattern. The game does not name them; the Fold Commons pathway does, from age nine.

Nothing is stored or sent. Make a real paper chain together afterwards.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what SnipPals is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
