For grown-ups
TandemTots is for two children of different ages and one tablet, lying flat between them. The older child's side shows a picture recipe, like two boats and one bell, and has nothing to press. The younger child's side has the boats and bells. So the older one has to say it, point at it and count it out loud.
Halfway, the board turns and the roles swap: now the younger child has the picture and does the telling, which is the harder turn. Both children press and hold their stones at the same time to check. If it doesn't match, each side gets a kind nudge and nobody is told the number.
Either child can leave at any moment: tap One of us has to go and the game ends kindly. There is no score, no timer and nothing to buy. Nothing is sent anywhere; a count of finished games stays on this device.
What it never does
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
- No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
- No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.
