For grown-ups
TwoWaysPals makes comparing strategies the game. Your child shows a sum their way with jumps on a number line; Ropeling shows a different way; then it's your turn to show the way you learned. The printed strip names the strategies the way school does — making ten, doubles, counting on — so you can say "teach me the way your class does it".
No way is ranked best. A wrong total is kept on the rope, and the app looks for the good idea inside it (counted on from the wrong number, or missed one jump). The How did you get it? round has Ropeling make a sensible mistake for your child to find.
