For grown-ups

Who Steps Up? is mixed practice. A problem arrives without a label, and your child picks the helper whose way fits it: counting a steady beat, laying a unit end to end, or stacking counts to compare.

Mixed practice is harder in the moment and tends to last longer than practising one kind at a time. The Call is five problems and then it ends.

The three helpers come from MeasurePals. Nothing is stored or sent.

What it never does

  • No accounts, no ads, no tracking — anything kept stays on this device.
  • No streaks, timers to beat, points to chase or leaderboards.
  • No chat, and nothing anyone types is sent anywhere.

We describe what Who Steps Up? is designed to practise. We do not claim it raises test scores.
