TeeterTots

A see-saw tips down on the heavier side — tap the block that makes it level. TeeterTots says everything out loud (no reading needed), the blocks are big to tap and easy to count, and there is no way to lose — a wrong tap just says "try another." Balancing the see-saw is the first taste of what equals means (the seed of algebra). On-device, no account. Ages 3–5.

In planning Swift 6 · SwiftUI · FoundationModels Early math / algebraic thinking — understand equality/balance as "the same amount on both sides" (relational thinking, the seed of the equals sign); compare quantities as more/less/same Number sense — count small sets of objects (subitizing to ~5) and combine them; find a missing part that makes two sets equal Hero color: #e08a2e

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

TeeterTots' see-saw friends each embody one move of BALANCE — the crew IS the idea: Teeter feels which side is heavier, Evenly makes both sides the same, Wobble reminds you it is okay to try another block (you cannot lose). Mentor Balley keeps the balance idea: when both sides match, it is level — the very first feel of what equals means. Painted portraits + storybooks are a tracked follow-on (R-WEB-CLONE-SPAWN-TRACKED); a text-only crew + a flat clean see-saw manipulative ship now, audio-first for pre-readers.

T

Teeter

Feels which side is heavier and tips the see-saw down — more on one side makes that side go low

E

Evenly

Makes it level — the same amount on both sides means the see-saw balances (equal)

W

Wobble

It is okay to try another block — a wrong tap is never a loss, just try again

B

Balley

(Mentor) — when both sides match, it is level; that is the very first feel of what equals means.
