Each character stands for one editing move you'll practice.

  • Prof. Ledger — The Teacher’s Edition — holds the answer key; normalizes “everyone misses a comma sometimes”.
  • BOLT-3000 — The confident-but-wrong novice you grade (147% confident, ~61% correct).
  • Caret — Insertion — carets in the missing word or letter.
  • Delé — Deletion — strikes the redundant, extra word.
  • Splice — The comma-splice culprit you catch and separate.
  • Homo Phone — Homophone swaps — there / their / they’re.
  • Cap — Capitalization — flips the wrong case.
  • Stet — Leave-it — the correct item you must NOT over-mark (the half-right trap).
