SomaLab

Feelings aren’t only in your head — they show up in your body, and each one has a shape. Bodhi the axolotl can feel every part of itself. Let’s map where feelings live, the way scientists did.

Level 1

Where do you feel it?

Anger runs hot in the head and hands; sadness goes cool and heavy in the arms and legs; the belly buzzes for both nervous AND excited. Scientists asked hundreds of people to colour a body for each feeling — and the maps agreed. SomaLab lets you paint your own, compare, and see that the body’s heat is the energy dial from the feeling map. The maps are averages, never a diagnosis, there are no sensors, and nothing you paint is ever saved.
