PerchTots

A map shows your room from up high, like a bird looking down - can you find where things go? PerchTots gives your littlest learner a bird's-eye map and a handful of stickers: tap the spot on the map where the teddy, the boots, or the ball belongs. It says everything out loud (no reading needed), the spots are big to tap, and there is no way to lose. Matching the map to the real room is the very first step in map reading. No camera, on-device, no account. Ages 3-5.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

PerchTots' map friends each embody one move of MAP READING - the crew IS the idea (audio-first for ages 3-5). Perch sits up high and looks down, so the whole room fits in one picture - that is a map. Spotty finds the matching spot: the bed on the map is the bed in the room. Placy puts each thing where it belongs on the map. Mentor Sky, the hawk, keeps the whole idea: from above, the map IS the room seen from the top, and the same spot on the map is the same spot in the room. Matching a map to the real room is the first step in map reading. No camera, ever. Painted portraits + storybooks are a tracked follow-on (R-WEB-CLONE-SPAWN-TRACKED); a text-only crew + a flat clean map ship now.
